Why You Should Train in the Morning

So you want to regain your energy and strength?  You realize that each day and each week there is a never ending stream of challenges and new things being thrown at you. Your kids are growing older (we pray they have made it through the “Terrible Two’s), your job is asking more of you, a loved one may be facing some kind of health challenge.  We want to give you the energy and strength to face all these transitions with confidence.  And this best happens by getting consistent in your training with us each morning.  Here’s three of nine reasons we believe this!

1. Regain Control of Your ENTIRE Life

Certain habits, once changed, begin a cascade of changes in your life for the better.  These are termed Keystone habits by researchers.  Exercising is one of the two major Keystone habits.  If you get into the habit of waking up and heading to the gym each morning we can guarantee that there are many more habits that will change.  It simply starts with showing up and letting our coaches lead you through a training session.

2. Have More Energy and Lose More Weight

Perhaps you are trying to lose some weight- from a little to many kilos- you want to rev up your body’s ability to give you energy!  When we carry extra weight- basically what we have is stored up energy in our cells.  We simply need to release that energy and use it!  By training in the mornings we are forcing our body to process that energy earlier in the day.  Due to how we design our training sessions to use many muscles and to build you into higher intensity training, your metabolism will go sky high and stay high throughout the day.  You can call this the “after Burn effect.”  It’s not about how many calories you burn during the workout, as much as how your body will continue to burn far more energy throughout the day.  This energy comes from burnt calories which comes from our extra fat stores! 3. Free Up Your Evenings

After a long day of work, you can head home or go spend time with friends.  This frees up your evening to perhaps study and develop your career, spend more time with family and friends, or enjoy a hobby.  We all know that we can control our morning schedule more easily than our evening schedule.  How many times does something come up for work that requires a late night at the office?  Then we miss our training and are now playing catch up for BOTH work and for our training!  Take care of yourself in the morning through your training, and you’ll have the energy, focus, and confidence to tackle anything that comes at you each day!
